**EDUCATION AND EMPOWERMENT**

At the core of Ifraj Foundation's value system is the basic understanding that all children have the right to the pursuit of education and self-fulfilment. We believe that by enabling early childhood education, and supporting adult skills-training, communities can thrive through sustainable means.

Providing Support Through Technology

Ifraj provided Fidel Castro school in Zanzibar with 10 laptops and internet access to support advanced education. We're expanding the program as more laptops become available.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Ifraj Zanzibar Foundation supports the continued empowerment of young, smart children across Pemba and Zanzibar through offering merit-based scholarships in key function areas.

SCHOOL UNIFORMS

Schools in Pemba, Tanzania require all students to wear full sets of uniform in order to attend. For children living beneath the poverty line, and are unable to afford a full set, are therefore denied access to basic education.

Ifraj Foundation is committed to ensuring that no child is left behind, and calls on you to support our efforts in providing school uniforms to children aged 6 and above.

For only 18 USD, each child receives two pairs of trousers and two pairs of t-shirts. For an added 2 USD, each child receives a pair of shoes.

NURSERIES

Ifraj Zanzibar Foundation has since built a total of 6 nurseries across Pemba and Zanzibar. Early childhood education services and amenities are severely rare across the islands, and young impressionable children often miss out on crucial opportunities to nourish their hungry minds.
